Despite his young age of 17, Nathan has been performing with his own band for almost 5 years. He was gifted his first guitar at the age of 2 by his grandmother and it was love at first sound. His natural ability for recreating the songs that he heard became evident by the time he was 5 when Nathan's "old soul" found that there was no music that resonated more for him than the blues. From Robert Johnson to BB King to Elmore James, he listened intently to their varied styles and eventually found his passion in the blues-rock realm with its aggressive licks and riffs. In 2016 he represented as a youth in the International Blues Challenge and in 2018 he was chosen Junior Bluesman of the Year by the Piedmont Blues Preservation Society.
I'm not alone - debut cd
"Nathan Pope's 'I'm Not Alone' EP shows both accomplishment and the promise of more. His guitar playing is astounding, his songs are cleverly written and arranged, and his singing sounds like what he is -- a young man singing from his heart. The production sonics are exciting too. Nathan is well on his way already."

Nathan Pope from North Carolina...He’s only 15 and he’s like the second coming of Joe Bonamassa.”

The Nathan Pope Band. I've seen the "next wave" of musicians that are coming. It's going to be ok people, the CRAP will fade and be replaced with real talent! Please support this band if you have a chance.
